Send Catalogue (QuickSell)

Send QuickSell catalogues, products and cart reminders from LeadPattern bots, and react when a customer adds a product to their cart.

5 min readUpdated Nov 3, 2026

The Send Catalogue action sends products from your QuickSell catalog as part of a bot. Every product goes out with its photo, price, details and an Add to order button, exactly like products sent from the chat. It appears under Messaging in the bot builder once QuickSell is available for your workspace.

Choose what to send, then connect the On Sent and Not sent outputs.

What it can send

ModeWhat the customer gets
Whole catalogueOne message with the catalogue cover, title, item count and a View catalogue button.
Picked productsUp to 10 products you choose in a picker. Each is a separate product message.
Top productsThe first 1–10 in-stock products of a catalogue, read when the bot runs — new stock goes out without editing the bot.
Matching productsUp to 1–10 products of a catalogue matching a keyword. The keyword can be a variable such as {{attr:interest}}.
Cart reminderThe customer's current QuickSell cart with a View Cart button.

Every mode can send an optional intro message first, for example Hi {{field:profileName}}, here are our best runners 👟. Use + Insert variable to add the contact's name, a custom field or a QuickSell cart value.

On Sent and Not sent

The node has two outputs:

  • On Sent — at least one message went out.
  • Not sent — nothing could be sent. Connect a fallback here, such as a template or a plain text message with a link to your store. If nothing is connected, the flow stops.
Reason the step takes Not sentWhat to do
The 24-hour window is closedProduct messages only deliver inside the window — send a template instead.
QuickSell isn't connected, or not in your planConnect it in Integrations → QuickSell.
No products matched, or the catalogue is emptyCheck the keyword and catalogue.
The customer's cart is empty (Cart reminder)Nothing to remind — this is expected.
QuickSell or WhatsApp returned an errorSee the bot log for details.

The reason is shown in the bot log and in the contact's activity timeline, for example "catalogue not sent — 24h reply window closed". Contacts who opted out are skipped the same way.

Product Added to Cart trigger

The Product Added to Cart (QuickSell) trigger starts a bot when a customer taps Add to order on any product you sent — from the chat or from a Send Catalogue step. The customer has already received the automatic View Cart reply, so use the bot for what happens next. You can limit the trigger to one catalogue.

These variables are available in messages and template variables for bots started by this trigger:

VariableExample
{{quicksell:product_name}}Runner Red
{{quicksell:product_price}}₹1,199
{{quicksell:catalogue_name}}Footwear Collection
{{quicksell:cart_items}}2
{{quicksell:cart_total}}₹3,198
{{quicksell:cart_summary}}1 × Runner Red, 1 × Trail Pro Black
{{quicksell:cart_link}}the customer's View Cart link
{{quicksell:order_id}}81132

Recipes

Recommend products when a customer asks

On Message trigger with the keyword "shoes" → Send Catalogue (Matching products, keyword "runner", 3 products, intro "Here are our best runners 👟") → Not sent → Send Message with a link to your online store.

Personalised picks from a custom field

Store what a contact is interested in (for example from a Flow) in a custom field interest, then use Matching products with the keyword {{attr:interest}}.

Cart reminder

Product Added to Cart trigger → Add / Remove Tags (tag "cart-active") → Time Delay 2 hours → Send Catalogue (Cart reminder, intro Still thinking about {{quicksell:product_name}}?). If the 24-hour window has closed by then, connect Not sent to a template that includes {{quicksell:cart_link}}.

Show new arrivals

On Message with "new" → Send Catalogue (Top products, 5) from your "New Arrivals" catalogue.

Checks before you save

Validate in the bot builder flags:

  • no catalogue selected (all modes except Cart reminder);
  • no products picked in Picked products;
  • a product count outside 1–10, or an empty keyword in Matching products;
  • QuickSell not connected, or not in your plan;
  • nothing connected to Not sent.
