Send a Template
Send an approved WhatsApp template in LeadPattern — in a single chat, as a broadcast, or from an automation — to start conversations and reach customers.
Once a template is approved, you can send it. Templates are how you start a new conversation or reach someone outside the 24-hour window.
Three ways to send
Open the conversation and choose to send a template. Pick an approved template, fill any variables for that customer, and send. This is how you re-open a chat that's past the 24-hour window. See Reply to a customer
Sending to one customer

The template is delivered over WhatsApp and appears in the thread.
If a send fails
A template send can fail — a bad number, a paused template, or a messaging limit. The failure carries a WhatsApp error code you can look up.
