Flow Submissions

When a customer completes a WhatsApp Flow in LeadPattern their answers are stored as a structured submission you can review and act on.

When a customer completes a Flow, their answers don't vanish into the chat — LeadPattern stores them as a structured submission. Each field maps to a value, so you can read exactly what the customer entered.

What's in a submission

A submission ties together:

  • The contact who filled in the form.
  • The flow they completed.
  • The answers — one value per field, kept structured rather than as loose text.

Reviewing submissions

Submissions are kept so you and your team can go back and read what customers entered — useful for following up on a booking request, qualifying a lead, or reviewing survey responses after a campaign.

From submission to action

A stored submission is most useful when something happens next. You can react to a completed flow automatically — reply, tag the contact, save an answer as a custom attribute, or hand the chat to an agent.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to a submission if the customer doesn't finish the flow?

A submission is recorded when the customer completes and submits the flow. A form someone opens but abandons doesn't produce a completed submission.

Can I use a submission's answers elsewhere in LeadPattern?

Yes. You can act on a submission automatically — for example saving an answer onto the contact as a custom attribute, or routing the chat to an agent. See the automate responses article.
