Creating a broadcast takes you from an audience and a template to a message in your customers' WhatsApp inboxes. This page walks through the whole flow.

Pick a list → Send Template → choose a template → map its variables to customer fields.

Build the broadcast

1

Open Broadcasts

Go to Broadcasts and start a new broadcast.

2

Name it

Give the broadcast a clear internal name so you can find it later in the list and in analytics.

3

Choose the audience

Select a saved segment or broadcast group. Opted-out contacts are excluded automatically.

4

Pick an approved template

Only templates with Approved status appear here. Choose the one you want to send.

5

Personalize the content

Map each template variable to a customer field so every message is filled in per recipient.

6

Send now or schedule

Send immediately, or set a date and time to send later.

What happens after you send

Once a broadcast starts, LeadPattern delivers the template to each recipient in the background and updates the status counters as WhatsApp reports progress. You can leave the page — delivery continues on the server.

Scheduled

Queued for a future time. It will start automatically when the time arrives.

Processing

Currently sending to recipients.

Completed

Every recipient has been processed. Open it to see delivery results.

What's next

Why can't I pick the template I want?

Only templates in Approved status can be broadcast. If yours is pending or rejected, it won't appear in the list. See Template status

Can I cancel a broadcast after sending?

A scheduled broadcast can be cancelled before it starts. Once it is processing, messages already sent cannot be recalled, but you can cancel the remaining queue.

Does a broadcast message opted-out contacts?

No. Contacts who have opted out are excluded from the audience automatically.
