Import Customers
Bulk-import contacts into LeadPattern from a spreadsheet — map columns to fields, including phone number, name, tags and custom fields.
When you already have a list of contacts, import them in bulk from a spreadsheet instead of adding each one by hand. LeadPattern reads your file and creates a customer from every row.
Import from a spreadsheet
Prepare your file
Build an xlsx with a header row and one customer per row. Include the phone number and any fields you want to import.
Open Customers and start an import
Go to Customers and choose to import.
Upload the file
Select your spreadsheet. LeadPattern reads the rows and shows the columns it found.
Map columns to fields
Match each column to a customer field — phone number, name, custom fields and tags.
Run the import
Confirm, and your customers are created in the background.
Preparing a clean file
- Phone number in full international format, in its own column — this is required to message a customer.
- One row per person with a clear header row so mapping is obvious.
- Columns for any custom fields you've set up, so the data lands in the right place. See Custom fields
